In 2008, YYDC was commissioned by Schrittmacher Festival to present an evening length new work at Ludwig Forum Aachen, Germany. During the 8 days residency, artistic director Yin Yue and guest artists of YYDC taught professional workshop and premiered a wonderful site-specific evening length work. In March, 2019, YYDC was invited to return to Schrittmacher Festival for the third time to present three new works at the festival. Artistic director Yin Yue was commissioned by Gibney Company to create a duet work as part of its Spring 2020 Season, INSIDER/OUTSIDER. In this new creation, Yin Yue collaborated with composer Rutger Zuydervelt to create original score for the duet titled A Measurable Existence.
